Programs Just For Kids Grades 6 - 8
Please note our middle school programs are held at our summer expansion space, 76 Rogers Street!
Our weeklong programs offer teens positive creative experiences that build confidence through hands-on learning. Students have fun using their imagination, experience community and develop leadership skills through hands-on projects.

Special Note about Afternoon Arts and Crafts
This is purchased as separate class (see listings under the class for each week.) Students who have attended in the morning and stay for Afternoon Arts can pack a lunch and stay right through until 3:00 p.m. All others arrive at 1 p.m. This is a time for students to work on any art project they like, with a teacher there to help. Many days we go for a walking field trip to play games outside as well. Spend the afternoon with friends making art, crafts and having fun!
What Kids Gain
Open-ended thinking teaches children about the design process with its incredible range of unique solutions. Learning how to draw, paint and build are all empowering and exciting experiences that have a positive life-long impact on kids. We are excited to enrich our programs, bringing art history, local culture, science and literature into the studio as well, nurturing the natural curiosity that kids have about the world and making connections with art.

Art Haven's Studio
We are located in downtown Gloucester close to fantastic resources like the Cape Ann Museum. Our newly renovated studio is a bright cheerful place where students are encouraged to be independent learners so that they feel empowered and feel ownership of the space. Teacher-student ratios are generally 6-1 so that children can have the best experience possible. We are a nut free facility.
